Kick Off Meeting Business Park Aviolanda
The Kick Off Meeting of Aviolanda Business Park took place on September 22nd 2011. Approximately one hundred guests gathered at lunchtime in building 53 of Fokker Elmo at Business Park Aviolanda. At 1.30 pm director Rob Sturm kicked off. He was very pleased to welcome so many guests. Next Stefan van Seters (BAC) and Peter Boeijink (EKCC) talked about innovations in aviation and aerospace. Benno Baksteen, former Commander of the KLM and Chairman of the Advisory Board DEGAS, talked about the future of aviation.
During the meeting the movie ' Take off at Business Park Aviolanda’ was launched. At the end of the meeting all participants got a DVD which they could take home. After a break Director Jaap Drost talked about the capabilities of Business Park Aviolanda. The individual sites are directly available to develop. Knowledge, experience and training opportunities make Business Park Aviolanda the place to be.
The meeting ended with a discussion. Remco Smit (CFO Fokker Technologies), Martin Groffen (Woensdrecht), Peter Ort (Director LCW), Bob Mulder (Delft University) and Director Jaap Drost discussed the future of MRO. They concluded that Business Park Aviolanda has all qualities to become the centre for aviation and aerospace in the Netherlands and in the world.
At 17: 00 Director Rob Sturm invited the guests to have a drink. It was a very successful meeting.
Business Park Aviolanda joined the Cyclo-Cross World Cup in Hoogerheide.
